Scene1:Maha and Dinakar get engaged. The wedding date is fixed for the marraige. Dinakars mother indirectly puts forth demands in terms of jewellery for the bride and groom. She demand 5 lakhs in cash for the wedding. The girls mother accepts the demands and agrees to give the money. Ravi sees all this.Scene 2:Selvi comes to meet Sarojini. She decides to start treatment for her immediately. Selvi discusses with pandiyan about how to take sarojini to the hospital with out the knowledge of police and viswanathan. She asks Pndiyan to call Viswanathan and tell him something(what has to be said is still not revealed.)Scene 3:Pandiyan calls Viswanathan. Pandiyan black mails Viswanatahn that he will hand over Sarojini to police. When Viswanathan still refuses to believe him he calls arasi through conference call(with Viswanathan still on the line), and inform arasi that sarojini is with him. Pandiyan doesnot reveal his identity to arasi. He tells arasi he will call again later and cuts the line. Arasi tries to detect from where the call is coming. Viswanathan hears all this accepts to give any amount of money Pandiyan demands, in return for Sarojini. Pandiyan tells Viswanathan to get a particualr amount and come to a place. All this is the plan of Selvi to divert the police and viswanathan so that she can take sarojini for treatment.

March 6th

Ravi informs Thilaga that everything is fine in her house and that Mahas wedding has been fixed. However Tilaga is shocked to hear that her second sister who considered arasi as her rival has now accepted a job that Arasi has git for her. All the more shocked is thilaga when she hears that her mother no longer considers her as her daughter and has mentioned about thilaga to mahas to-be in laws.
GJ refuses to go to Dinakar-Mahas engagement and this causes a fight between Selvi and GJ. GJ doesnot allow Selvi also to go to the engagement. The guy who GJ has set to find Sarojioni meets Nalla thambi. He says that GJ has asked to hand over Sarojini before even Viswanathan finds out. However this guy is Nalla Thambi's guy. Nalla Thambi decides to find Sarojini

Arasi serial story - 4th March 2009 Episode 550

Scene 1:
Tamarai's parents visit Selvi. They inform Selvi and GJ that they have seen a girl for dinakaran(Thamarais second brother) to fix his marriage. GJ insults them saying they have come expecting money for the wedding. Selvi apologises to Thamarai's parents. Selvi says she will be unable to attend the function(ponnu pakal) due to a function at Kaveri's college. She asks them to go ahead and fix the wedding.

Scene 2:
Thilagas mom worries about her daughters marraige. At that time Thamarais parents visit their house asking for the hand of Mahalakshmi(Thilaga's first sister). They also say that Dinakars horoscope says there will be a problem in the family if he gets married. However they also say that they have done the necessary parigaram.

Scene 3:
Maha says she likes Dinakar and is willing to get married to him. Mahas mother says she has only 2 daughters(not mentioning about Thilaga).

Episode 549:

Scene 1:

Arasi and Selvi converse about viswanathan and sarojini's

Arasi asks selvi if sarojini has called. Selvi says that sarojini once said to her that "Even if viswanathan is bad, I will want to die as his wife only", and hearing which selvi had stopped talking to sarojini and not attended sarojini's phone calls.

Arasi asks selvi to attend sarojini’s phone calls from now on and ask sarojini what the details are and what is going on.

Scene 2:

Arasi's daughter in law(selvarani) complains about arasi and selvi talking privately to uday (arasis son.)

Selvarani serves breakfast to arasi alone and not to selvi. Seeing this arasi gets upset with selvarani. However a nice scene develops out of this in which arasi feeds selvi breakfast from her plate. This scene is well shot and very well done.Radhika scores full points in this scene as a mother .

Scene 3:

Thilaga asks her brother to vist her mother and see how she is managing with her sisters.

Scene 4:

GJ and Viswanathan discuss about the call (asking for money in return of sarojini) . GJ asks viswanathan not to give money and calls sarojini a "murderer". GJ says he will ask goondas to look for sarojini and as usual askis for money to pay for goondas from viswanathan :)

GJ fixes a goonda named pasupathy to find sarojini giving him the photo. But GJ doesnot have plans of handing over sarojini to viswanathan after finiding her. Instead he had other plans(which is not yet revealed)
